Clifford Lau

Advisor, Business Development

Clifford has established a distinguished career in both the public service and private sector in Australasia.  He served in the West Australian Corporate Affairs Office investigating corporate crimes committed by companies listed in the then Perth Stock Exchange.  He was also an Advisor in the Department of Industrial Development at the West Australian Public Service under the Vice Premier’s Office.  

 

In the private sector, he helmed several multinational banks on an institutional capacity in Stockbroking and Investment Banking. He was responsible for managing Australia’s Bain & Company in Singapore, establishing Japan’s Nomura Securities Office in Singapore, as well as setting up of OCBC Securities Office in the Philippines.  He served as President of OCBC Securities Philippines and also held positions as Governor of the then Manila Stock Exchange and serving in the Listing Committee of the newly merged Philippines Stock Exchange (PSE).

Clifford is a Certified Practising Accountant of CPA Australia and currently serves as Advisor to several companies he helped list in the PSE as well as holding Chairmanship of a mental health start-up in Singapore.
 

Mark Abisheganaden

Mark Geoffrey Abisheganaden

Executive Director

Mark Geoffrey Abisheganaden has been involved in the Environmental Test and Simulation Industry since 1988. As a technical sales engineer, at Trio – Tech International and subsequently Department manager, he was responsible for the marketing, sales, and after sales of the world’s top 2 environmental test equipment manufacturers Weiss Technik GmbH and Votsch Industrietechnik GmbH responsible for a Profit and Loss Business of over USD 3 million annually. His team were responsible for sales and after sales in the Asia region.


Previously he was the Managing Director of Upstar International and is currently the Executive Director of QRA International since 2003. These companies were the sole distributor of Weiss Technik GmbH range of Environmental Test and Simulation Chambers in the South East Asia region for almost 20 years from 1993 till 2012.


He has served on the board of the charity Youth Challenge and is currently the President of the Ken Shin Kai Karate Club and karate school based in Tanglin Community Centre in Singapore. 

Roland Teo

Advisor (Finance and Compliance) 

Mr Roland Teo Cheng San is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, U.K. He has extensive banking experience in the Asia Region. Positions held by Mr. Teo included Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Bank Taiwan, Credit Cards Head for Citibank Taiwan and Managing Director of AIG Credit Card Company Taiwan. Besides Taiwan, Mr Teo also held positions with regional responsibilities and is familiar with most of the major consumer banking markets in Asia. In addition, Mr. Teo was also the Chairman of NIB Bank in Pakistan.


Mr. Teo voluntary involvements include being on the board of Credit Counselling Singapore and also actively involved in the management committees of various sports associations – including terms as Chairman for Singapore Wrestling Federation and President of Karate Union of Singapore.
